DMCA Policy
manyzip respects the intellectual-property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”), we will respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the requirements below.
Reporting alleged infringement
If you believe content hosted on manyzip infringes a copyright you own or control, send a written notice to our designated agent at support@manyzip.com with the subject line “DMCA Notice”. Your notice must include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to let us locate it — ideally the full manyzip URL(s).
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
Our response
Upon receiving a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material and make a reasonable effort to notify the user who posted it.
Counter-notification
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to support@manyzip.com including:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in [JURISDICTION] and will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice.
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the removed material in 10–14 business days unless the original complainant files a court action seeking to restrain the activity.
Repeat infringers
We will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
